cleaning steam engine and installing whistle

So I did another bench test, and the engine would not spin, In fact the safety valve triggered, indicating too much pressure.

I disassembled the entire engine and cleaned thoroughly. The main shaft seemed to be stuck for some reason. I lightly sanded the axle (600 grid) and after putting some oil,  reassembled everything. The flywheel was also beginning to become lose, hence the rattling noise in the previous post video.

I also installed the whistle. The thread on the whistle is 1/4 inch 32 thread. So I needed an adapter 1/4-40 to 1/4-32
Talked to Clevedon steam in UK, the guy was working with Cheddar before they went out of business in 2005 and is very familiar with the cheddar line of steam products. He was very helpful.

So now, I need to install a third servo to control the whistle. I'll post the progress here.

In the meantime, the steam plant works like a charm; a few pics and a video.
